You're invited to take a unique master class offering a blend of jazz, modern and ballet to help mold you into a well-rounded, versatile dancer. The class will begin with a unique warm-up designed to work on focus, discipline, strength, balance and technique. Funk aerobics, abdominal and upper-body exercises will be incorporated into the class to improve dancers' circulation, cardiovascular health and core strength.

The class allows plenty of time for dancers to be divided into small groups to learn and perform an adagio, as well as leaps and turns across the floor. A combination will be taught to encourage dancers to transform technical steps into moments of personal expression. So come be inspired to move and be moved by the power of dance!
Caroline Patterson grew up near the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where she begged her parents at age four to enroll her in dance class. Since then, she has studied and performed with Manassas Dance Company, North Carolina School of the Arts, Carolina Ballet (Raleigh School of Ballet), Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, and Boston Ballet.

While pursuing a Journalism degree at UNC-Chapel Hill, Caroline served as a captain of the nationally recognized UNC Dance Team. After College, she studied jazz and hip-hop at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Caroline currently teaches, choreographs, and performs with the Rainbow Tribe Dance Company.
