Krissy
Faria began dancing at age two. She
studied tap, jazz, ballet and pointe and has danced competitively
in such competitions as Terpsichore, Dance Olympus, American
Dance Awards and Dance Educators of America. She began student
teaching at the age of twelve and was choreographing by age
sixteen. In 1994, she became the director of the dance program
at Community Development Recreation in Fall River, MA.
Today, you can find her teaching hip-hop, jazz, tap and cardio
funk at The Dance Place in East Freetown, MA. Krissy is grateful
to her family, friends and former teachers for supporting her
passion for dance throughout the years and also to her students
for keeping it alive. Krissy is currently Assistant Artistic
Director, Director of Operations, & Contributing Choreographer
of the
Rainbow Tribe Dance Company. |
